So this is going to sound super corny. But being at shows really makes me feel like I’m not alone. Being at a show with 1000 people, all of us with something in common…makes me feel so fucking connected to them. Music is such a huge part of my life and getting to be in a place with so many people who all like that music as much as I do is amazing. I feel like I could go up to any of those people and we would have something in common. We are similar. And I love that feeling because I feel alone a lot. I feel unwanted and disconnected from people a lot. But not at shows. I even get along better with my own friends there. Music is literally my life, and I don’t know where I’d be without it.
